City of Sedalia Waives Permit Fees for State Fair Community College Projects to Enhance Workforce Development
On August 21, 2023 the City Council of Sedalia, Missouri, passed a vital resolution to waive building permit fees for three substantial construction projects undertaken by State Fair Community College (SFCC). The waived projects include:
- The construction of a new Center for Advanced Agriculture and Transportation Technology facility, with estimated construction costs of $20 million.
- The construction of a new 200-bed residence hall, with estimated construction costs ranging from $15 to $20 million.
- The construction of a new outdoor athletic complex, with estimated construction costs of $10 million.
