Road Closure: Intersection of S. Kentucky Ave. at W. 20th St. – Tuesday, June 4, 2024

The City of Sedalia’s Utilities Staff will be working on S. Kentucky Ave. at its intersection with W. 20th St. beginning Tuesday, June 4 at 7:00 a.m. and continuing until 6:00 p.m. to repair a failed storm sewer. Travelers should anticipate S. Kentucky Ave. closed to through traffic just south of its intersection with W. 20th St. Residents living along S. Kentucky Ave. will need to coordinate with City Crews on site should they need access to their driveways. Northbound travelers on S. Kentucky Ave. are encouraged to turn east or west at W. 24th St. Southbound travelers are encouraged to turn east or west at W. 20th St. Heavy equipment and workers will be operating in and near the roadway during this period. This work is weather and equipment dependent and the re-opening date may be affected by inclement weather or equipment breakdowns.
