S. Montgomery Ave. Closed to Through Traffic at Various Locations for Water Main Replacements

S. Montgomery Ave. from E. 6th St. to E. 7th St. will be closed to through traffic from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Thurs., July 15, 2021 to allow for water main replacement. On Fri., July 16, 2021 from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., the intersection of S. Montgomery Ave and E. 7th St. will be closed for water main replacement. Beginning on Mon., July 19, 2021 and continuing through Wed., July 21, 2021 from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., S. Montgomery Ave. between Broadway and E. 7th St. will be closed to through traffic.

Businesses and their customers in these areas will have access to parking lots and residents will be able to access their driveways during construction activities. Heavy equipment and workers will be in the roadway and driving lanes will be restricted. The roadways will be opened during night time hours. Travelers are advised that the roadway will be closed to through traffic and they should plan an alternate route to avoid delays during daytime hours
