Burn Ban – No Open Burning – Including Recreational Burn Pits – May 2, 2023 until Further Notice

Due to dry conditions and excessive wind forecasted, the City of Sedalia will be placed in a burn ban until further notice. No open burning, including recreational burn pits, will be allowed within the city limits of Sedalia until further notice. The use of barbeque grills is still authorized as long as the grill has a lid to cover the fire while cooking. Please use extreme caution when using a grill.

When: Beginning May 2, 2023 and continuing until significant rain fall and lower wind conditions
