N. Grand Ave. Resurfacing – W. Main St. to the Intersection of W. Henry St. and Martin Luther King Dr. – Mill and Overlay to begin Tuesday, May 28, 2024 through Friday, May 31, 2024

Beginning on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 and continuing through Friday, May 31, 2024, the City of Sedalia’s Public Works Operations Division will be milling and overlaying N. Grand Ave. from the W. Main St. to the intersection on W. Henry St. and Martin Luther King Dr. During this period, road construction will result in the roadway being closed to through traffic. Residents living along this roadway will need to coordinate with City Crews on site should they need access to their driveways. Northbound travelers are encouraged to use N. Missouri Ave. to access N. Ohio Ave. to enter N. Highway 65. Southbound travelers are encouraged to use W. Henry St. to access N. Park Ave. to enter onto W. Main St. Mill and overlay work will begin each day at 5:00 a.m. and continue through 7:00 p.m. Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway during this period. Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion.
