Sedalia Main Streets and Downtown Sedalia merchants have arranged two “treat” events for the community over the next two weeks.

Witches Night Out: On Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sedalia Main Streets, The Ivory Grille and participating downtown businesses are hosting our first ladies event with Witches Night Out! Grab your favorite ghoul friends and make plans to have some fun, starting at the Fox Theater Event Center at 501 S. Ohio.

There you can gather more information about our downtown destinations including shopping and food specials, sangria, tarot card readings/art, Raku pottery and much, much more!

The Sedalia Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting a costume contest at the Fox Event Center, so be sure to check in between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. We will also have a selfie station set up to capture you and your group’s fabulous attires. This event is free to attend. We are requesting donations of feminine products to be donated to Open Door; a wonderful way for women to support women beyond this event!

Downtown Sedalia Trick-or-Treat: The annual Downtown Sedalia Trick-or-Treat event will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023! Make plans to stroll along S. Ohio Avenue and visit downtown businesses and organizations handing out candy from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This even includes the Municipal Building Staff, The Sedalia Fire Department and Sedalia Police Department at 200 S. Osage Avenue and the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department at 319 S. Lamine.
