Water Main Break

The Sedalia Public Works Department was notified of a water main break at approximately 5:00 p.m. last night in the area of W. 20th Street and S. Limit Avenue. It was a 16 inch main approximately 9 feet deep. The crews were on site overnight working to restore water service to the area. Water has since been restored and crews are still on site backfilling the repair area. The right hand northbound lane (east side of Limit) should be be reopened by noon.
